Dunedin Intensive Care, with Faculty from the Nepean Hospital in Sydney, will be running a basic echocardiography RACEplus course on the 22nd and 23rd of August 2026, in the Hunter Centre. The course is targeted at critical care and other acute care physicians. A strong focus of the course will be HANDS-ON practice in small groups. The objective is to equip physicians with the skill to perform a focused bedside transthoracic echo to identify common cardiac and haemodynamic disorders.
